Mord mit Aussicht

Crime/Comedy, Germany 2008

The young zoo employee Sonja is left by her boyfriend and colleague Jens. The mentally unstable woman freaks out. She loves Jens idolatrously and in her excessive jealousy she fears that he wants to return to his ex-girlfriend Conny, who was paralyzed after an accident. And that's not all: she threatens to kill herself and the ruffed bear baby Gustav in her care if Jens doesn't change his mind. Now Gustav is only a week old, and already the declared darling of the city of Cologne. Of course, they are hoping for the Knut effect, i.e. tourism and press attention, and in this respect it would be more than stupid if something were to happen to Gustav of all people. Jens alerts Sophie because she is the only policewoman he knows and trusts. The two used to be a couple. Jens left Sophie for Conny back then, he is a notorious stranger. At the same time, Dietmar and Bärbel also travel to Cologne, on the one hand because they are curious to see how their boss is doing in the big city, and on the other because they want to help her. In the meantime, Zielonka Jr., who has finally returned from his stay in Canada, is "running" the police station and plans to settle down in Hengasch again.
